FEDER Periodo 2000-2006

Entre los Fondos Comunitarios del presupuesto de la
UE, revisten un papel muy significativo los Fondos
Estructurales Europeos y el Fondo de Cohesión, que
tienen como finalidad favorecer la cohesión
económica y social en el espacio comunitario, a través
de la cofinanciación de las políticas de gasto público
desarrolladas por los estados-miembros.
Para ello se elaboran Programas Operativos
plurianuales que son los documentos que desarrollan
y concretan la estrategia de desarrollo a cofinanciar
con los Fondos Europeos, integrados por un conjunto
coherente de ejes prioritarios y objetivos temáticos y
la asignación financiera anual para las medidas a
desarrollar.
El Ayuntamiento de Talavera es y ha sido en el pasado
beneficiario de ayudas de estos Fondos Europeos, que
han cofinanciado proyectos destinados al desarrollo
económico y social de la ciudad de manera sostenible
e inclusivo, para garantizar el bienestar social de sus
vecinos y vecinas, presentes y futuros.

Within the Community Funds of the EU budget, the
European Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund
have a very significant role, which aim to favour
economic and social cohesion in the community
space, through the co-financing of the European
Union policiesin public spending developed by
member states.
For this, Multi-annual Operational Programmes are
elaborated, which are the documents that develop
and specify the development strategy and co-finance
with the European Funds, integrated by a coherent
set of priority axes and the thematic objectives
andthe annual financial allocation for the measures
to be developed.
Talavera City Council currently is and has been
beneficiary of aid from these European Funds, which
have co-financed projects aimed at the economic and
social development of the city in a sustainable and
inclusive manner, to guarantee the social welfareof its
neighbours, both in the present and the future.
